Education

The schools in undeveloped area of our country are not well equipped and not enough in hygienic care mostly by poor water supply and by using not well constructed and maintained toilet. The teachers, teaching equipments and the school furniture are not enough. The teachers have to teach several classes at the same time. The main problem is no mineral drinking water and no electricity.

Since social and educational status is low in some region due to undeveloped condition by many factors in Myanmar, sometimes it is aggravated by natural disaster.eg  In the Irrawady Division, Cyclone Nargis destroyed the Ninety-eight percent of all school buildings and many lives in May 2008. So that situation of education level is worsening.
Some children unable to go to school as the parent cannot afford to equip them with school uniforms, books and the children need to work in the field or to go fishing. They have to struggle only for their daily food consumption to survive their difficult life. Most of the children from poor family always depressed of their current life and thought they are in hopeless living.

ACVO will support them to motivate to escape from poverty by trying to be more confidence with their own ability and hopefully to become active students. All young children should have the human rights to attend to school without anxiety.
