How become ACVO MYANMAR Foundation?
Dr. Jens EHRHARDT and family from Germany are kind to all people and generously donated to the poor especially with medical and educational requirements since they have been visiting in Myanmar. So eagerly they are interested in humanitarian aid in undeveloped area, decided to found a non-government and a non-profit organization in cooperation with Dr. Ye` Lwin and Zin Mar Aung from Myanmar who are naturally willing to establish an own NGO.
After discussion to create an own NGO with Dr. Jens EHRHARDT and us in 2010, Dr. Jens promised to sponsor for humanitarian aid organization.
We are contributed by LOTTE-EHRHARDT-STIFTUNG from Germany to start the ACVO MYANMAR foundation project since 2011 up to now. We would like to thanks to Dr. Jens EHRHARDT and family to become our non-profit and non-government organization. We hope to proceed to stand our foundation cooperatively with them to implement the successful long lasting one.
Dr. Samuel Ye`Lwin and Zin Mar Aung from Yangon are kind to all people and generously donated to the poor especially with medical and educational requirements since they have been visiting in Rakhine State from 2007 October to 2012 December. So eagerly they are interested in humanitarian aid in undeveloped area, decided to found a non-government and a non-profit organization in cooperation who are naturally willing to establish an own NGO.
We hope to proceed to stand our foundation cooperatively together to implement the successful long lasting one. But unfortunately Dr. Sanuel Ye` Lwin passed away suddenly with Carbon monoxide poisoning at the place of our foundation on November 15, 2012. During the period before he died he treated many poor patients and had 78 students.
History of Dr. Ye’ Lwin (Samuel)
He is a doctor and worked for AMFA (NGO from France)as Medical Officer in 2008 for four years at Sandoway Resort in Rakkhine State before ACVO project started. He has enjoyed to work for non profit organization and to help poor people with his treatment. He has been visited to some villages during his working period and decided to help the people who away from Thandwe Town as long as he can do. When he traveled along the Rakhine State and he found out so many requirement for children education, health and many social well fare. Many places have no electricity, no mineral water and very bad transportation, unpleasant house and so on…
We helped to people what we can reach hand in Myanmar such as the poor, the children, old people, disable people by giving health and educational support even else other support during disaster.
History of Zin Mar Aung
She has worked at Sandoway Resort Ngapali as a Front Office Manager in 2007-2011 and is wife of Dr. Ye’ Lwin. She worked at the Strand Hotel as a Guest Services Officer since 1993 to 2000 and also worked at Parkroyal Hotel (Yangon) for 2 years in 2000-2002. Then she was promoted as a Duty Manager at Summit Parkview Hotel (Yangon) for 3 years before she joined to Sandoway. After her duties, she always helped to her husband and enjoyed to help people as possible as she can. She is willing to perform together with her husband to support to the poor with any requirements for education and health.
She will teach the English and Computer Class in weekends and summer holidays to the students at ACVO School. She has many experiences for Hotel & Tourism Industry and pleased to share her knowledge to any other people. She is no longer working at Sandoway and now she is working for ACVO projects.
