Our Projects
Our current project is located in Kyee Kan Ye` village, Thandwe Township, Rakhine State, Myanmar. The village has over one thousand of villagers and most of them are fisher man and farmers. It is situated 20 miles away from Thandwe and it takes about two and half hours drives from Thandwe by car or motor bike. The public bus leaves at 4:00 AM once a day to Thandwe Town and at 12:30 PM from Thandwe to the village. There are another four villages nearby which have to cross over our village to reach to Thandwe Town.
There have no electricity, difficult transportation, no mineral drinking water (can get only hard water from water well), no doctor and no health center and most of people are poor. We decided to build a unit structure in there to help poor people to improve their education and to give health care since 2008 when we have visited once.
We founded a structure in a regional area which needs basic requirement for health and education. We support some kinds of basic provision such as educational school, dispensary for public health, referral emergency case for saving life, donation to hospitalized patients, etc.
Our foundation built one story building in this village to provide free classes for student’s education by well experienced teachers and free medical support for students and villager’s health. It is treated and managed by Medical Doctor Dr. Ye` Lwin (Samuel). All the expenditures of our foundation are donated by LOTTE – EHRHARDT – STIFTUNG from Germany.
Our objective for education is to modify and boost the morale of poor students from undeveloped area in Myanmar as they grow in a poor family with hopeless life. We realized them to exist with their efforts to be qualified students and to purpose them to abreast with urban children from the world in the future.
Our aim for health care is to provide free access for emergency aids and necessary medications by medical doctor as the area is too difficult to go to hospital on time.
ACVO save many poor lives because if they are suffering for any diseases they will lose their daily wages and meal for whole of their family. The health care for the student also more important factors and all of them should have awareness of hygienic. We helped by giving necessary medications and treatments for poor villagers and student’s health.
We awarded the prizes to the students who won the first to third prizes in the monthly test and the final examinations. And we also awarded the prizes to the student who is the best in the art of painting and the easy writing. And we will honor for the most intelligent and outstanding student if they are willing to continue for further study in high school or college who is very poor and unable to support by their parents in the future.
We also teach the English Speaking Class for the adults, teenagers and children. Children are only in Summer Holiday. After they have finished the English Speaking Course, we continue to train English for Hotel Staff Course in the future. Nowadays, English language becomes more important factor for everyone where they have to use it in many professional fields or for their studies. Our English class is more useful for the teenagers and graduate people there as the y cannot learn English even in Thandwe because of they cannot pay it for fees and transportation cost is also expensive. We provided the essential education requirements to the poor student in Kyee Kan Ye’ village.
We proceed to open the sewing training for unemployed women to raise small business for their livelihood with small investment at home. We will perform other programs to improve their life style according to our fund for suitable situations in the future.
